The Beautiful Freedom series was inspired by the tragic terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.  "Freedom Lives" and "Still Beautiful" are two important themes that reinforce my beliefs in an America that rallies to rise above tragedy . These pieces are also inspired by all of the American's throughout history who sacrificed everything to defend freedom and democracy. The butterfly is a symbol of freedom and transformation and represents the triumph of good over evil.  These museum quality giclee limited edition prints are based on original mixed media pieces.
